and Advisory Services: Please contact me if
your company needs advice related to the Texas
state instructional materials review and adoption
process. During five years of consulting, I have
worked with large and small publishers including
Harcourt Achieve (now a part of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt) and McGraw-Hill on state adoptions
in 2006, 2007, and 2009. I have also worked with
numerous smaller companies seeking advice on a
very complex state adoption process. My work includes
training and advisory services for publishing
executives and sales representatives on statutes,
rules, and Texas Education Agency processes for
adopting and purchasing instructional materials.
I can also provide the following services for

Program Evaluation
and Research: My educational background
includes a Ph.D. from The University of Texas
at Austin. The doctoral program included a combined
program of studies in Curriculum and Instruction
and Educational Psychology with an emphasis
in measurement and evaluation. Over the past
five years, my work in the research and evaluation
area has included:
